I rarely give reports even though i should cuz we always have a lot of dim mak activity goin on at all of these conferences that we are a part of. This WMC 2010 we had a stacked DIM MAK crew out in Miami holding it down at a few parties namely our wednesday day party and our friday night showcase at Louis.
Our showcase at Louis started off with
LA dim mak tuesdays resident and my partner running the party Them Jeans
Newest addition to the dim Mak roster and miami native Sonic C
Rob Roy came on at around 12 midnight with myself djing his tunes. he played a 20 minute set of his newest album coming out on dim mak later this year… look out for his single “fur in my cap” on youtube.
Fischerspooner jumped on after that – we have an album coming out with them in the near future as well as a new single dropping in a few months.
Joachim Garraud put on his space invaders masks and threw up his keytar for some solos – we will be releasing a full length album with him in the near future.
Shinichi Osawa from Tokyo Japan did a deep techno set and kept the dance floor groovin’.
Afrojack and myself did our first ever back to back dj set for 1 hr and half with special vocal drops by Bob Rifo from The Bloody Beetroots and a third member of our dj set Laidback Luke. We dropped a few tracks from our latest studio session and later Luke dropped (the second time) our track we just finished two weeks ago. A stagedive might have happened in that little room.
Rye Rye came on soon after that and rapped over hard and fast Bmore beats.
Pase Rock did his groovy set and may have dropped his Lindsay Lohan track.
Destructo came on and went deep on the kids
Autoerotique closed out the night with their deep dance set.
It was a long night and cobrasnake took a few snaps
