Let’s first briefly discuss what stem cell research is. Stem cells are crucial in the development of organisms, they are in all our bodies and from the research we are doing on stem cells we can conduct and learn to repair or counteract many diseases, injuries (some that are permanent like being handicapped or blind, deaf), reduce risks in surgeries, and one of the most important benefits in playing a major role against cancer.

As we have progressed through the past centuries we have learned more and more about our bodies and how to fight off viruses, diseases, and other ailments that have plagued our bodies and vastly improved our quality of life, the amount of time we are alive, and we are still progressing towards the future to find the most valuable tools to do just that. Stem Cell Research is one of the most important, if not the most important kind of studies to learn about our bodies and find ways to make the crippled walk, the blind see, the deaf hear, fight off diseases like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Heart Disease, Stroke and Diabetes, Cancer. We all eventually succumb to one or more of these diseases and we can find ways to counteract and/or avoid them altogether. We don’t just need the research open, we need more funding to learn more about what our most valuable stem cells in our body. Don’t let Mitt Romney take that away from us. I don’t want to see United States move back from the progression that Obama has started. Vote Obama in this years election.
